Anindor Vineyard

Located in the Misty Hills of the Elkton Oregon AVA in the northern most part of the Umpqua Valley. Owners, Rod and Nina Pace ended their six year search to find a premier location that would produce high quality wine 3 miles south of the charming community of Elkton. Rod’s background in agriculture (he took grape-growing classes in college) brought them to this northern part of the Umpqua region, where he could grow premium pinot noir, pinot gris, gewürztraminer, pinot blanc, and riesling. It’s a farmer’s dream. In fact, Rod and Nina refer to themselves as “grape ranchers”!

The name “Anindor” comes from Nina’s and Rod’s names spelled backwards and combined. At Anindor Vineyards, sharp-shinned hawks do a great job of scaring away grape-eating birds, such as robins. It’s little wonder then that an image of this hawk graces the label on the wine bottles as well as other Anindor branding. The eco-friendly vineyard is certified sustainable by LIVE (Low Input Viticulture & Enology).

The Mission at Anindor is to concentrate on quality; cultivate winemaking using minimal intervention in small lots. We feel this philosophy allows development of flavors unique to the vintage and true to the variety.

Anindor Vineyards offers the perfect wine-tasting oasis. The yurt tasting room is open from Memorial Day Weekend to the end of October, Wednesday – Sunday, 11am – 5pm
